It started with a simple dream — a safe, easy, and enjoyable online betting platform built for the people of Bangladesh. Since 2019, 898ok has been turning that dream into reality.
When 898ok launched in 2019, online betting in Bangladesh meant confusing interfaces, everything in English, and waiting days just to withdraw your money. A group of people thought — there has to be a better way. Bangladesh deserved a platform built for its own users: everything in Bangla, payments through bKash, and a support team you could actually talk to in your own language.
And that idea became 898ok. In the early days, membership was just a few hundred people — but word spread fast. Someone in Dhaka told a friend in Chittagong; someone in Rangpur told an acquaintance in Khulna. People saw that withdrawals actually went through, support actually responded, and cricket match odds were genuinely competitive.
898ok has come a long way in six years. Today, we have over 500,000 registered members, active users across all 64 districts of Bangladesh, and new games and features added every week. But one thing has never changed — built for the people of Bangladesh, in the language of Bangladesh.
Today, 898ok is home to 500+ games, betting on 30+ sports, a Live Dealer casino, fishing games, and crash games — all under one account. During cricket season you can live bet on a match, spin some slots at the break, and jump into a fishing game whenever you like. Everything is on mobile, in Bangla.
"We don't just run a platform — we build a real relationship with bettors across Bangladesh."
— From the 898ok TeamMember feedback shapes every decision at 898ok — which new games to add, which payment methods to integrate, which bonus structures actually make sense. Regular input is collected from members, which is why the platform has grown into something that genuinely reflects what people in Bangladesh want.
Responsible gaming at 898ok isn't just words on a page. Deposit limits, self-exclusion, session reminders — these are tools that real members actually use. Because 898ok believes the only true goal is a gaming experience that stays enjoyable for the long run.
